The Littelfuse RUSBF120-2 is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse designed for overcurrent protection in low-voltage circuits. It has a hold current of 1.2A at 20°C still air and a trip current of 2.0A minimum. The device can withstand a maximum voltage of 6V DC and a fault current of 40A. Power dissipation in the tripped state is 0.6W typical. The maximum time to trip at 8.0A is 500ms. Resistance values are 70mΩ minimum, 97.5mΩ maximum as supplied, and 140mΩ maximum one hour after trip. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. The RUSBF120-2 comes in a radial leaded disc package with 5.08mm lead spacing and 24 AWG lead size. It is RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free. This fuse is suitable for applications requiring resettable overcurrent protection in compact through-hole designs.
