The RUR1S1560S9A is an ultrafast diode designed for freewheeling and clamping diodes in switching power supplies. It offers a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 600V and average rectified forward current of 15A. The device features low forward voltage drop of 1.5V at 25°C and 15A, and reverse recovery time of 55ns (at 1A) and 60ns (at 15A). It is avalanche energy rated with 20mJ. The diode is Pb-free and RoHS compliant. It comes in a surface mount D2PAK (TO-263) package with 2 leads plus tab. Operating temperature range -55°C to 175°C. Applications include switching power supplies, power switching circuits, and general purpose rectification.
