The RUEF090 is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse manufactured by Littelfuse. It provides overcurrent protection with a hold current of 900 mA (20°C still air) and a trip current of 1.8 A. The device can withstand a maximum voltage of 30V and a fault current of up to 100 A. Power dissipation in the tripped state is 0.9 W.
The initial resistance ranges from 0.22 Ω (min) to 0.45 Ω (max). The time to trip at 4.5 A is 5.9 seconds maximum. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
This fuse is packaged in a through-hole radial disc package with a lead spacing of 5.05 mm. The dimensions are 0.291" diameter by 0.118" thickness (7.40 mm x 3.00 mm), with a maximum seated height of 12.20 mm. It is suitable for board-level overcurrent protection in low-voltage power supplies, battery circuits, and general electronics.
