RT9199GSP

The RT9199GSP from RICHTEK is a versatile bus termination regulator designed to generate termination voltage for DDR memory systems, ensuring compliance with device requirements. This regulator is capable of actively sinking or sourcing up to a peak current of 2A for DDRII or 1.5A for DDRIII, while maintaining output voltage within 20mV. The output termination voltage can be precisely regulated to track 1/2 VDDQ using external voltage divider resistors or programmed by forcing the REFEN pin voltage.

Key features include integrated power MOSFETs, high-speed differential amplifier for fast transient response, low initial offset voltage, excellent load regulation, and bidirectional current limiting. It also incorporates on-chip thermal shutdown protection. The RT9199GSP is available in an 8-SOP-EP (Exposed Pad) surface mount package, suitable for applications such as desktop PCs, notebooks, workstations, graphics card memory termination, set-top boxes, digital TVs, printers, and embedded systems.

This regulator offers a low external component count and includes a shutdown function for Suspend to RAM (STR) functionality with a high-impedance output. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
