The RT6576DGQW from Richtek is a dual-channel synchronous DC-DC step-down controller designed for battery-powered systems. It integrates two Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) controllers with adjustable output voltages ranging from 2V to 5.5V for Channel 1 and 2V to 4V for Channel 2. Additionally, it features two fixed 5V and 3.3V linear regulators, each capable of delivering up to 100mA output current. The 3.3V LDO boasts 1% accuracy under 35mA load.

This controller supports advanced features such as Connected Standby Mode for Ultrabooks, Constant Current Ripple (CCRC) control with a rapid 100ns load step response, and a PWM maximum duty ratio exceeding 98%. It operates within a wide input voltage range of 5V to 25V. The device includes an oscillator output for external charge pump applications, on-board power-up sequencing, a power-good indicator, internal soft-start, and soft-discharge functions to prevent negative voltage during shutdown.

For power efficiency, the RT6576DGQW automatically switches to diode-emulation mode under light load conditions.
