The Samtec RSM-102-02-S-S is a 2-position surface mount receptacle connector from the RSM (Micro SMT Receptacle) series. Designed for board-to-board applications, this connector uses a pitch of 1.27mm (0.050") between contacts and 2.54mm (0.100") between rows, offering layout flexibility. It features a single row with all positions loaded and a push-pull fastening type.
The receptacle is rated for a current of 3.8A per pin when two pins are powered, with a voltage rating of 290 VAC. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a 30µin gold/tin finish, and the insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
This connector is surface mount with solder termination and is provided in bulk packaging. The SMT leads have a maximum coplanarity of 0.10mm. It accepts lead sizes of 0.46mm square. The RSM series is also available in single or double row configurations up to 72 pins, and this specific variant is a single row, 2-position version without polarization or pick-and-place pad options.
