The RS1M is a fast recovery rectifier diode designed for surface mount applications. It is rated for a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 1000V and an average rectified forward current of 1.0A at an ambient temperature of 100°C. The typical forward voltage is 1.3V at a forward current of 1.0A. The diode offers a fast reverse recovery time of 500ns, making it suitable for high-frequency rectification and switching power supplies.
This device features a glass-passivated junction for enhanced reliability and stability. It is housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) package with a mounting type of surface mount. The RS1M is Pb-free and RoHS compliant. The thermal characteristics include a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 105°C/W and a junction-to-lead thermal resistance of 32°C/W when mounted on FR-4 PCB. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
