The TE Connectivity RNF-100-3/8-WH-SP is a flexible, flame-retardant heat shrink tubing made from irradiated polyolefin (PO). It features a 2:1 shrink ratio, allowing it to conform to irregular shapes for secure insulation and strain relief.
This tubing is designed for demanding environments, offering superior mechanical properties including abrasion, cut-through, and strain resistance, along with fluid and solvent resistance. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 135°C, with a minimum shrink temperature of 95°C. The recovered wall thickness is 0.025" (0.64mm) and the inner diameter after recovery is 0.187" (4.75mm).
Applications include insulation and strain relief of wire terminations and connections, jacketing wire bundles, and light-duty harnesses where superior abrasion resistance is beneficial. It is also used for color-coding electrical connections and wire bundles. This specific part is white in color.
