The TE Connectivity RNF-100-1-WH-FSP is a flexible, flame-retardant, general-purpose heat shrink tubing made from irradiated polyolefin. It offers a 2:1 shrink ratio and is designed for demanding environments, providing superior mechanical, thermal, and fluid-resistance performance.
Key features include excellent abrasion, cut-through, and strain relief resistance, along with solvent resistance. The tubing conforms to irregular shapes and is suitable for wire termination insulation, strain relief, and jacketing wire bundles. Its operating temperature range is -55°C to 135°C, with a minimum shrink temperature of 95°C.
This tubing is available in white and comes in a 200-foot (61.0m) length on a spool. The recovered wall thickness is 0.035" (0.89mm) and the recovered inner diameter is 0.500" (12.70mm). It meets various industry and military standards, including AMS-DTL-23053/5 and RT-350.
Applications include providing insulation and strain relief for wire terminations and connections, jacketing wire bundles, and light-duty harnesses where superior abrasion resistance is beneficial. It is also used for color-coding electrical connections and wire bundles.
