The TE Connectivity RNF-100-1-CL-STK is a flexible, flame-retardant, general-purpose heat shrink tubing made from irradiated polyolefin. It features a 2:1 shrink ratio and is designed to provide superior mechanical, thermal, and fluid-resistance performance in demanding environments.
This tubing operates within a temperature range of -55°C to 135°C and requires a minimum shrink temperature of 95°C. Its recovered wall thickness is 0.89mm, with an inner diameter of 12.70mm. The tubing is clear in color and offers excellent resistance to abrasion, cuts, fluids, and solvents, making it suitable for strain relief applications.
It meets various industry and military standards, including UL, CSA, AMS-DTL-23053/5, and VDE 0341 Pt 9005. The RNF-100 series is widely used for insulating and strain-relieving wire terminations and connections, as well as for jacketing wire bundles and light-duty harnesses where superior abrasion resistance is beneficial. It also serves for color-coding electrical connections and wire bundles.
