The TE Connectivity RNF-100-1-BK-FSP is a general-purpose, flexible, and flame-retardant heat shrinkable tubing made from irradiated polyolefin.
This tubing features a 2:1 shrink ratio and is designed for demanding environments, providing superior mechanical properties such as abrasion, cut-through, and strain relief resistance. It also offers excellent fluid and solvent resistance.
The operating temperature range for this tubing is -55°C to 135°C, with a minimum shrink temperature of 95°C. The recovered wall thickness is 0.89mm, and the inner diameter after recovery is 12.70mm.
Applications include insulation and strain relief for wire terminations and connections, jacketing wire bundles, and light-duty harnesses where superior abrasion resistance is beneficial. It is also used for color-coding electrical connections and wire bundles.
