The TE Connectivity RNF-100-1/8-YO-SP is a flexible, general-purpose heat shrinkable tubing made from irradiated polyolefin. It offers a 2:1 shrink ratio and is designed for demanding environments, providing superior mechanical, thermal, and fluid-resistance performance.
Key features include excellent abrasion, cut-through, and solvent resistance, making it suitable for insulation and strain relief of wire terminations and connections. It is also used for jacketing wire bundles and light-duty harnesses. The tubing conforms to irregular shapes and is flame-retardant.
This tubing operates within a temperature range of -55°C to 135°C and requires a minimum shrink temperature of 95°C. The recovered diameter is 1.6 mm with a wall thickness of 0.51 mm. It is supplied on a spool and is RoHS3 compliant.
Applications include wire termination insulation, strain relief, wire bundle jacketing, and color-coding of electrical connections.
