This TE Connectivity RNF-100-1/8-WH-SP heat shrink tubing is constructed from flexible, irradiated polyolefin. It offers a 2:1 shrinkage ratio and is designed for general-purpose applications requiring superior mechanical, thermal, and fluid resistance.
The tubing features excellent abrasion and solvent resistance, making it suitable for demanding environments. Its operating temperature range is -55°C to 135°C, with a minimum shrink temperature of 95°C and a minimum full recovery temperature of 121°C. The recovered inner diameter is 0.062 inches (1.57mm) with a wall thickness of 0.020 inches (0.51mm).
Applications include insulation and strain relief for wire terminations and connections, jacketing wire bundles, and light-duty harnesses where abrasion resistance is important. It is also used for color-coding electrical connections and wire bundles. The material is RoHS3 compliant.
