The TE Connectivity RNF-100 is a flexible, flame-retardant heat shrink tubing designed for general-purpose applications. It features a 2:1 shrink ratio and provides excellent abrasion, cut-through, and fluid resistance, making it suitable for demanding environments.
This tubing conforms to irregular shapes and is ideal for insulation and strain relief of wire terminations and connections. It is also used for jacketing wire bundles and light-duty harnesses where superior abrasion resistance is beneficial. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 135°C, with a minimum shrink temperature of 95°C.
The RNF-100 series meets various industry and military standards, including AMS-DTL-23053/5 and RK-6001. It is available in a wide range of sizes and colors, including this orange variant, for identification and color-coding purposes. The material is irradiated polyolefin.
