The Cosel RMC50A-1-JN is an open frame AC/DC converter designed for chassis mount applications. It accepts a wide input voltage range of 85-132 VAC at 47-440 Hz, with an equivalent DC input of 110-170V. The converter delivers three regulated outputs: +5V at 2A, +12V at 0.3A, and -12V at 0.2A, with typical efficiency of 70%.
Output regulation is maintained with line regulation of 20mV max for +5V and 48mV max for ±12V, and load regulation of 100mV for +5V and 120mV for ±12V. Ripple and noise are limited to 120mVp-p on +5V and 150mVp-p on ±12V. The converter includes overcurrent protection (works above 105% of rating with automatic recovery) and overvoltage protection via zeroer diode clamping on the +5V output only.
