The RKEF500-1 is a polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resettable fuse designed for overcurrent protection. It has a hold current of 5 A at 20°C still air and a maximum voltage of 60 V. The device trips in 28 seconds maximum at 5 A. After tripping, the maximum resistance is 50 mΩ.
It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The radial disc package features through-hole mounting with a lead spacing of 10.15 mm. The dimensions are 24.10 mm length, 3.00 mm width, and 29.00 mm height.
