The RJFRB6 is a modular connector plug housing from Amphenol Socapex, designed for prewired RJ45 cordsets in harsh industrial environments. It features a reverse bayonet locking mechanism for quick and secure mating, and is rated IP67 for dust tight and waterproof protection.
This free hanging (in-line) housing accepts standard RJ45 cordsets without requiring field cabling or tools, thanks to the patented RJStop system. It supports Cat 5e and Cat 6 data transmission standards, suitable for 10 BaseT, 100 BaseTX, and 1000 BaseT networks.
Mechanically, the housing is shock resistant, vibration resistant, and toolless. It offers a minimum of 500 mating cycles and a retention force of 70 N on the RJ45 cordset. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. The housing material is rated UL94 V0 for flammability and can withstand salt spray for over 1000 hours and thermal shock of 5 cycles between -40°C and +100°C.
