The RJ45-8N-B is a low profile filtered modular jack from TE Connectivity's Corcom N Series. It provides an 8P8C (RJ45, Ethernet) connector configuration with a single port and single row. The jack features a right angle (90°) orientation and through hole solder termination, making it suitable for PCB mounting. The connector is unshielded and includes a ferrite block filter for EMI suppression, along with board lock and panel stops for secure mechanical retention. The tab direction is down. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with 50 microinches gold plating over 100 microinches nickel underplating, ensuring reliable electrical connections. Contact resistance is 20 milliohms maximum initially and 30 milliohms maximum after 500 mating cycles. The housing is black glass-filled polyamide (STANYL TE250F3). Dielectric withstanding voltage is 1000 VAC for 60 seconds between lines and line to ground. PCB retention force is 1 lb minimum before soldering and 20 lb minimum after soldering. The component is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and has MSL 1 (unlimited).
