It also includes transmit/receive switch circuitry, ESD protection, and full on-chip matching and decoupling.

 

The device is designed for applications requiring extended range and bandwidth, such as Zigbee extended range devices, smart power, wireless sound and audio systems, home and industrial automation, and wireless sensor networks. It supports OQPSK modulation with high transmit signal linearity and features low-voltage (1.2 V) CMOS control logic.

 

The RFX2401C is provided in a small, 16-pin QFN package measuring 3 x 3 x 0.55 mm with an exposed ground pad. Its architecture integrates all necessary RF functionality into a single package, simplifying design and reducing component count for wireless systems in the 2.4 GHz ISM band.
