The RFN10TF6S is a super fast recovery diode manufactured by ROHM Semiconductor. It is designed for general rectification applications requiring low switching loss and high current overload capacity. The diode has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified forward current of 10A at Tc=82°C with a 60Hz half sine wave resistive load.
Key electrical characteristics include a typical forward voltage of 1.25V and a maximum of 1.55V at 10A and 25°C. Reverse current is typically 0.05µA and maximum 10µA at 600V. The reverse recovery time is 30ns typical and 50ns maximum, making it suitable for high-frequency circuits. The non-repetitive peak forward surge current is 100A.
The device is housed in a TO-220-2 through-hole package with a supplier device package of TO-220NFM. It has a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and a thermal resistance junction-to-case of 3.5°C/W. The diode is suitable for use in power supplies, inverters, and other power conversion systems.
