The REC20-2412D is a 20-watt isolated DC/DC converter module from Recom Power, part of the REC20 series. It delivers dual regulated outputs of +12V and -12V, each capable of supplying 835mA. The converter operates from a nominal 24V input with a 2:1 range of 18V to 36V, and achieves a typical efficiency of 89.5%. Key protection features include remote on/off control, overvoltage protection (OVP), short circuit protection (SCP), and under voltage lockout (UVLO). The module also offers output voltage trimming of ±10% and a fixed switching frequency of 350kHz.
Designed for commercial ITE (Information Technology Equipment) applications, the REC20-2412D provides 1.6kVDC isolation between input and output. It is certified to UL/CSA/EN-60950-1 safety standards and is RoHS2+ and REACH compliant. The converter is housed in a compact 6-DIP module measuring 50.8mm x 25.4mm x 10.2mm (2" x 1" x 0.4") with through-hole mounting. It features 6-side shielding for reduced EMI and operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +100°C.
