The REC15-485.1S/H2/M is a 15W isolated DC DC converter from Recom Power's REC15 series, housed in a 2" x 1" metal case. It delivers a regulated 5.1V output at up to 3A with a typical efficiency of 87% at nominal input and full load. The converter accepts a wide 4:1 input voltage range of 18-75V, designed for 48V nominal systems.
Key electrical features include 2kVDC input-to-output isolation, remote on/off control (active high), overcurrent protection, continuous short circuit protection with power limiting, and undervoltage lockout. The output is capable of driving up to 3300µF capacitive load, and the device can deliver 150% rated power for short durations to handle high startup currents.
Packaged in a 6-DIP through-hole module measuring 50.8mm x 25.4mm x 10.2mm, the converter is suitable for ITE (commercial) and medical applications.
