The Semtech RCLAMP3328P.TNT is a low-capacitance, 8-line Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for protecting high-speed data lines. It features a low clamping voltage and low dynamic resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring minimal signal attenuation.
This device provides ESD protection up to ±30kV (air) and ±25kV (contact) per IEC 61000-4-2. It can handle a peak pulse current of 5A (8/20µs) and a peak pulse power of 75W. The low capacitance of 0.4pF at 1MHz allows for operation above 5GHz without signal degradation.
The RCLAMP3328P.TNT is manufactured using Semtech's proprietary low voltage EPD technology and operates at voltages up to 3.3V. It is housed in a 9-pin SGP3810N9 package, measuring 3.8 x 1.0mm with a nominal height of 0.50mm. The surface mount design and flow-through package simplify PCB layout.
Key applications include HDMI, USB 3.0, and LVDS interfaces, where robust ESD protection is critical. The device is Pb-Free and Halogen Free compliant.
