The RCLAMP0522P.TCT is a surface-mount TVS diode designed for steering (rail-to-rail) ESD protection in high-speed data applications. It features two unidirectional channels with a reverse standoff voltage of 5V and a maximum clamping voltage of 15V. The device can handle peak pulse currents up to 5A (8/20µs waveform) and dissipates peak pulse power of 150W. It provides power line protection and has an ultra-low typical capacitance of 0.8pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for preserving signal integrity on high-speed interfaces.
The diode is housed in a compact 6-UFDFN package (supplier device package SLP1610P4) and supports surface mount mounting. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The rail-to-rail configuration allows the device to protect two independent lines by steering the transient current to the supply rail or ground.
This TVS diode is specifically intended for protecting HDMI interfaces, as indicated in the specifications, and is also well-suited for other high-speed differential data lines such as USB, DisplayPort, and LVDS. Its low capacitance minimizes signal degradation while maintaining robust ESD protection.
