The RB521S30T1G is a Schottky barrier diode designed for high-speed switching applications, circuit protection, and voltage clamping. It is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 30V DC and a maximum forward current of 200mA. The diode offers an extremely low forward voltage of 500mV (max) at a forward current of 200mA, which reduces conduction loss.
This device features a peak forward surge current of 1A for a single 60Hz cycle. The total power dissipation is 200mW when mounted on an FR-5 board at 25°C ambient temperature, with a derating factor of 1.57mW/°C above 25°C. The junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is 635°C/W.
