The RB050L-40TE25 is a Schottky barrier diode from ROHM Semiconductor, designed for general rectification applications. It features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 40V and an average rectified forward current of 3A at a lead temperature of 75°C. The diode exhibits a low forward voltage of 0.55V maximum at 3A and 0.50V at 1.5A, contributing to high efficiency. The device can handle a peak forward surge current of 70A for non-repetitive single cycle at 25°C. The junction temperature is rated up to 125°C, with storage temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. Thermal resistance characteristics are provided for alumina board (90°C/W junction-to-ambient) and glass epoxy board (120°C/W). The diode is packaged in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package, also designated as PMDS. It is supplied on 180mm reel with 12mm taping width, in quantities of 1500 pieces per reel. The marking code is 35. This diode is suitable for high-frequency rectification due to its Schottky technology, offering fast switching with recovery time less than 500ns. Typical applications include power supply output rectification, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits.
