The R82IC3100AA55J is a general purpose metallized polyester film capacitor from KEMET's R82 series. It has a capacitance of 0.1 µF with ±5% tolerance and a voltage rating of 250 VDC. The capacitor is constructed with a metallized polyester dielectric and radial leads of tinned wire, encapsulated in a thermosetting resin box that meets UL 94 V-0 requirements.
This capacitor is designed for through-hole mounting with a lead spacing of 5 mm. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and has a climatic category of 55/105/56. The device is self-healing and qualified to AEC-Q200 automotive grade standards.
Typical applications include blocking, coupling, decoupling, timing, and oscillator circuits. It is not suitable for across-the-line applications. The capacitor is RoHS compliant with lead-free terminations.
