The KEMET R82DC4100JE60K is a general purpose metallized polyester film capacitor from the R82 series. It offers a capacitance of 0.1 µF with a tolerance of ±5% and a rated voltage of 63 VDC. The capacitor is constructed with metallized polyester dielectric and encapsulated in a resin box meeting UL 94 V-0 flammability requirements. It features radial leads of tinned wire with 5 mm lead spacing, suitable for through-hole mounting.
This automotive-grade component is AEC-Q200 qualified, ensuring reliability under demanding conditions. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and belongs to climatic category 55/105/56. Typical applications include blocking, coupling, decoupling, timing, and oscillator circuits. The self-healing property of the metallized film provides added protection against overvoltage spikes.
