The KEMET R76TN26805040J is a double metallized polypropylene film capacitor designed for DC and pulse applications. It is rated at 1600 VDC with a capacitance tolerance of ±5%. The capacitor is housed in a self-extinguishing solvent resistant plastic case with thermosetting resin meeting UL 94 V–0 requirements.
This component features radial leads of tinned wire with a lead spacing of 22.5 mm. It is suitable for through hole mounting and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +110°C. The R76 series is automotive grade (AEC–Q200) up to 22.5 mm lead spacing.
Typical applications include resonant circuits, high frequency high current circuits, snubber and commutation circuits for SCR, IGBT, and SiC MOSFETs. The capacitor is self-healing and RoHS compliant with lead-free terminations.
