The KEMET R75PR4100JE30J is a single metallized polypropylene film capacitor from the R75 series, designed for DC and pulse applications. It offers a nominal capacitance of 0.1 µF with a ±5% tolerance and a DC voltage rating of 1600 V. The component operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C.
This capacitor is constructed with radial leads of tinned wire, electrically welded to the metal layer on the ends of the capacitor winding. It is encapsulated in a self-extinguishing, solvent-resistant plastic case meeting UL 94 V-0 requirements. The part is packaged in Tape & Reel format per IEC 60286–2.
Typical applications include resonant circuits, high frequency coupling and decoupling, and silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR and IGBT) commutation circuits. The R75 series is also suitable for automotive applications for lead spacings from 7.5 mm to 22.5 mm, meeting AEC–Q200 qualification requirements.
