The KEMET R49AR3680CKB1M is a metallized polypropylene film EMI suppression capacitor designed for Class X1 across-the-line applications. It has a capacitance of 0.68 µF with ±20% tolerance and a rated voltage of 330 VAC at 50/60 Hz. The capacitor is approved to ENEC, UL, and cUL standards per IEC 60384-14.
This capacitor features self-healing properties and is encapsulated in a self-extinguishing resin box meeting UL 94 V-0 requirements. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C with a climatic category of 40/110/56 per IEC 60068-1. The radial leads have a spacing of 27.5 mm, and the component is suitable for through-hole mounting.
Typical applications include electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression filters in permanently connected mains-powered equipment. The capacitor is RoHS compliant and has lead-free terminations. It undergoes 100% screening factory test at 2,200 VDC and 1,500 VAC.
