The KEMET R46KR4470JHM2K is a metallized polypropylene film capacitor designed for electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression in across-the-line applications requiring X2 safety classification per IEC 60384-14. It features a capacitance of 0.47 µF with ±20% tolerance and a rated voltage of 275 VAC at 50/60 Hz. The capacitor has a lead spacing of 15 mm and a lead length of 4 mm, supplied in bulk (bag) packaging.
This component is self-healing and undergoes 100% factory screening at 2200 VDC/1500 VAC. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C with a climatic category of 40/110/56. The encapsulation uses self-extinguishing resin meeting UL 94 V-0 requirements. The capacitor is RoHS3 compliant and has lead-free terminations.
