The Radiall R142016000 is a 75 Ohm BNC straight plug clamp type connector designed for use with RG-59 cable. It features a brass body with nickel plating, a gold-plated brass center contact, and a PTFE insulator for reliable RF performance up to 1.5 GHz. The connector offers a maximum VSWR of 1.3 and insertion loss of 0.115 dB, making it suitable for video and data transmission applications.
The connector uses a bayonet lock fastening mechanism for quick and secure mating. The contact is terminated via solder, and the shield is terminated with a clamp, ensuring a robust mechanical connection. The operating temperature range is -65 to +165 °C, and the connector can withstand up to 500 mating cycles. The clamp nut torque is specified at 450 N.cm, and cable retention pull-off force is 136 N minimum.
