The Radiall R141018000 is a BNC straight plug, clamp-type coaxial connector designed for use with RG-213, RG-214, RG-225, and RG-393 cables. It features a 50 Ohm impedance and operates up to 4 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.1 and insertion loss of 0.115√F(GHz) dB. The connector is rated for 500 Vrms voltage and 1500 Vrms dielectric withstanding voltage, with insulation resistance of 5000 MOhm minimum.
The connector is constructed with a brass body and center contact, nickel-plated body, and gold-plated center contact (0.5 µm over 2 µm nickel). The insulator is PTFE and the gasket is silicone rubber. It uses a bayonet lock fastening type and clamp shield termination. The clamp nut torque is 450 N.cm with a 16 mm A/F nut.
Mechanically, it offers a mating life of 500 cycles minimum, center contact retention of 27 N at both ends, and cable retention pull-off force of 350 N minimum. The operating temperature range is -65°C to +165°C. It is a free-hanging, in-line mounting connector with solder contact termination. Standard packaging is 100 pieces per unit.
