Mechanically, it provides center contact retention of 27 N minimum at both ends, a minimum torque of 2.8 N.cm, and a mating life of 500 cycles minimum. The operating temperature range is -65°C to +165°C. The body is passivated stainless steel, and the center contact is gold plated over nickel.
