Radiall R112163000 is an SMC right angle plug connector with a female socket, designed for 50 Ohm impedance and operation from DC to 10 GHz. It features threaded fastening for secure coupling, solder contact termination, and clamp shield termination. The connector is compatible with RG-178 and RG-196 cables.
Electrical characteristics include a maximum VSWR of 1.4 + 0.060 x F(GHz), maximum insertion loss of 0.25√F(GHz) dB, minimum RF leakage of -(62 - F(GHz)) dB, maximum voltage rating of 250 Veff, minimum dielectric withstanding voltage of 750 Veff, and minimum insulation resistance of 1000 MOhm.
Mechanically, the connector is constructed with a brass body and outer contact, beryllium copper center contact, PTFE insulator, and chloroprene gasket. Plating includes gold over nickel on all contacts. The assembly weighs 4.6 g and has a minimum mating life of 500 cycles. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +100°C. Recommended mating torque is 30 N.cm, and clamp nut torque is 40 N.cm. Cable retention pull-off force is 58 N minimum.
