The Vicor QPI-8LZ-01 is a hot-swap controller featuring an active EMI filter, designed for DC/DC converter applications. It meets AdvancedTCA™ PICMG3.0 requirements for hot insertion and board-level noise limitations. The active filter provides common-mode and differential-mode noise attenuation from 150 kHz to 30 MHz.
This component operates on a 36-76VDC bus, with a maximum input voltage of 80 Vdc and a 100 Vdc surge capability. It includes a 6A delayed circuit breaker and a 12A in-rush current limit, suitable for up to 200W per board at 70°C. The efficiency is rated at over 99%.
The QPI-8LZ-01 is available in a low-profile LGA package, with dimensions of 25.3 x 25.3 x 5.2 mm for the lidded SiP and 24.9 x 24.9 x 4.4 mm for the open-frame SiP. The operating ambient temperature range is -40°C to +125°C.
Applications include ATCA blades, telecom base stations, IBA & distributed power systems, network switches and routers, optical line-cards, and TD-SCMA wireless infrastructure.
