The Vicor QPI-6LZ QUIETPOWER® active EMI filter is engineered to attenuate conducted common-mode (CM) and differential-mode (DM) noise across the CISPR22 frequency range of 150 kHz to 30 MHz. Designed for 48 Vdc bus systems (36 – 76 Vdc) with a 100 Vdc surge capability, this filter supports multiple DC-DC converter loads up to 14A without de-rating at ambient temperatures up to 65°C.
This active filter provides 40 dB CM attenuation and 80 dB DM attenuation at 250 KHz (50Ω). It supports the PICMG® 3.0 specification for filtering system boards to EN55022 Class B limits, making it suitable for telecom and ITE bus applications. The QPI-6LZ is available in a low-profile LGA package, either as a lidded or open-frame System-in-Package (SiP), saving valuable board real estate and enhancing airflow in blade applications.
Key features include a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, an efficiency greater than 99%, and a 1,500 Vdc hipot hold off to the shield plane. The filter is TÜV Certified and designed for surface mounting. Evaluation boards are available for quick in-circuit testing.
The nominal input voltage is 48Vdc with a range of 36 to 76Vdc. Maximum continuous input is 80Vdc, with 100Vdc for 100ms transients.
The QPI-6LZ is available in lidded SiP and open-frame SiP packages with LGA termination for surface mount.
