The Vicor QPI-21LZ-01 is an active EMI input module designed for 48Vdc bus systems, operating within a 36-76 Vdc range with 100 Vdc surge capability. This filter effectively attenuates conducted common-mode (CM) and differential-mode (DM) noise across the CISPR22 frequency range of 150 kHz to 30 MHz.
With a 14A rating, the QPI-21LZ supports multiple DC-DC converter loads up to an ambient temperature of 65°C without de-rating. It provides significant attenuation, including 45 dB CM and 80 dB DM at 250 KHz. The module is designed for telecom and ITE bus applications and supports the PICMG® 3.0 specification for filtering system boards to EN55022 Class B limits.
Compared to passive solutions, the active filtering technology reduces component size, leading to a smaller overall package. The QPI-21LZ is available in an open-frame SiP (System-in-Package) module with an LGA mounting type. It operates across a wide ambient temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and boasts an efficiency greater than 99%.
This module is cTÜVus approved to UL/CSA 60950-1 and EN 60950-1 standards and is CE marked to the LVD and RoHS Recast Directive as applicable. Typical applications include ATCA blades, telecom base stations, and network switches.
The maximum input voltage for the QPI-21LZ-01 is 80 Vdc.
The QPI-21LZ-01 has a current rating of 14 A.
The QPI-21LZ-01 operates in an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
The open-frame SiP module dimensions are 24.9 x 24.9 x 4.4 mm.
The RoHS Status is RoHS3 Compliant.
The Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) is 1 Unlimited.
