The Qualtek Q5-2X-1-01-QB48IN-5 is a dual wall, adhesive lined, flexible polyolefin heat shrink tubing designed for sealing and protecting wire splices, terminals, and cables. It features a 2:1 shrink ratio, with a supplied inner diameter of 1" (25.4mm) and a recovered inner diameter of 0.5" (12.7mm) with a minimum wall thickness of 0.043" (1.09mm). The tubing is self-extinguishing, meeting VW-1 flammability requirements, and has a voltage withstand of AC 2500V per ASTM D 2671. Operating temperature ranges from -45°C to 125°C, with a minimum shrink temperature of 100°C and full recovery at 125°C. Mechanical properties include a minimum tensile strength of 10.4 MPa and elongation at break of 200% (ASTM D 2671). The tubing is RoHS compliant and carries UL file numbers E236137 and 242540.
