The Qualtek Q2-F3X-1-01-MS50FT is a 3:1 shrink ratio, highly flexible, flame retardant polyolefin heat shrink tubing designed for electrical insulation, bundling, marking, and mechanical protection. It has a supplied inner diameter of 25.4 mm (1 inch) and recovers to a maximum inner diameter of 8.0 mm with a recovered wall thickness of 1.2 mm. The tubing is black and supplied on a 50 ft spool.
This tubing meets SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 Class 1 & 3 and Sony-SS-00259 specifications. It is rated VW-1 for flammability and has a dielectric strength greater than 20 kV/mm. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +135°C, with a minimum shrink temperature of 70°C and full recovery at 100°C. Mechanical properties include a minimum tensile strength of 14 MPa and elongation at break greater than 600%.
The 3:1 shrink ratio makes it suitable for covering irregular and difficult shapes. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and does not contain PFAS, PFOA, or PFOS substances. The tubing is typically packaged on a spool.
