The PX0801 is an inline cable connector body from the Bulgin Mini Buccaneer series, designed for power connector applications. It is an insert shell that accepts separately sold contact inserts, allowing for flexible configuration of 2, 3, 4, or 6 contact screw terminal inserts, or 3 or 8 contact solder/crimp inserts. The housing is rated IP68 for dust tight and waterproof protection, tested at 10m depth for 2 weeks, making it suitable for harsh environments.
The shell is made of black polyamide (nylon) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, ensuring flame retardancy. It features a threaded fastening type for secure mating and is unshielded. The cable range accepted is 3.5mm to 9mm, and the coupling ring diameter is 26mm. The mounting type is free hanging (in-line).
This inline connector body mates with the PX0800 flex cable connector and PX0802 rear panel mounting body, among others. It is designed for easy assembly without special tools on screw terminal versions. The positive locating keyways prevent mis-mating.
The PX0801 is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected, though these are unverified. Contact inserts are sold separately. Standard package quantity is not verified.
