The Bulgin PX0800 is a Mini Buccaneer series circular connector insert shell designed for free hanging (inline) cable applications. It accepts cable diameters from 3.5mm to 9mm and features a threaded fastening type with a screw locking ring and positive locating keyways to prevent mismating.
This housing is made from polyamide (nylon) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating and is unshielded. It provides IP68 dust-tight and waterproof protection when mated, tested at 1.054 kg/sq cm (15 lb/sq in) and 10m depth for 2 weeks. The coupling ring diameter is 26mm.
The PX0800 mates with inline or panel mounting versions and accepts plug or socket inserts (screw terminal, solder, or crimp contact types, sold separately). It includes a backshell and coupling nut. The part is UL approved and meets EN60068-2-52 salt mist test standard for marine severity level 1.
