The PX0686 is an IEC 320-2-2/E power entry plug from Bulgin Components, designed for cable mounting in electronic equipment. It uses male blade contacts and screw termination for reliable wiring connections.
Electrically, the plug is rated for 10A at 250VAC, with a contact resistance below 10mΩ and insulation resistance exceeding 1000MΩ. Dielectric strength is 4.5kV between contacts and 4kV between contacts and accessible parts.
Mechanically, it employs a free hanging (in-line) mounting style with a nylon housing that achieves UL94V-0 flammability. Contacts are made of brass. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 70°C, and withdrawal force is 10N to 50N.
