The PX0415/1 is a re-wireable SMB plug connector from Bulgin's Buccaneer for Data series. It features a 50 Ohm impedance, threaded coupling, and is designed for use with RG-174 cable. The connector operates over a frequency range of 0-4 GHz, with contact resistance of 6 mΩ max (center) and 2.5 mΩ max (outer). Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable signal integrity.
Mechanically, the connector is free-hanging (in-line) with a 19 mm diameter over the coupling ring. It withstands 500 mating cycles and requires 36 N insertion and withdrawal force. Cable retention force is 18 N. The body is molded from polyamide with UL94 V-0 flammability rating, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Environmental protection includes IP68 and IP69K ratings, tested per EN60529 and DIN 40050. It also offers UV resistance per EN 50021:1999 and salt mist resistance per EN60068-2-52 Test Kb, Marine Severity Level 1. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +80°C.
