The Bulgin PX0412/08S is a circular connector receptacle housing designed for use with female sockets in power applications. It accommodates 8 power positions and accepts crimp and solder cup contacts (sold separately). The housing features a panel mount design with a bulkhead rear side nut for secure installation, and a threaded fastening mechanism for reliable mating.
Constructed from polyamide (PA) nylon, the housing is black and unshielded. It offers an IP68 ingress protection rating, ensuring dust tightness and waterproofing for harsh environments. The material is rated UL94 V-0 for flammability, and the housing is UV resistant for outdoor use. The keyed orientation prevents mismating.
This housing is part of the Bulgin 400 Series Buccaneer family, known for robust circular connectors suitable for industrial, marine, and outdoor applications. The IP68 rating is tested at 10m depth for 2 weeks, and the housing also meets IP69K standards. The mounting feature allows front or rear panel mounting with a rear side nut.
