The PX0410/12P/6570 is a circular connector plug housing from Bulgin Components' Buccaneer 400 Series. It is designed for male pins and has 12 power positions. The housing is free-hanging (in-line) and uses a threaded coupling mechanism for secure mating.
The housing is made of polyamide (nylon) with a black/blue color scheme. It is unshielded and features a keyed orientation to prevent misalignment. Environmental protection is rated IP68 (dust-tight and waterproof to 10m depth for 2 weeks) and IP69K (high-pressure water jet resistant). The material is UL94 V-0 flame retardant. The housing includes a backshell, coupling nut, and is UV resistant.
The connector accepts crimp and solder cup contacts (supplied separately). Contact engagement is 2.5mm for electrical integrity. The cable range is 3 to 7mm diameter. The overall length (flex + inline) is 80mm, and the diameter over the coupling ring is 19.1mm. Contacts are gold plated. The connector meets salt mist test requirements per EN60068-2-52 Test Kb, Severity Level 1 (marine). For 12-position configurations, the contact rating is 1A at 50V.
This housing is suitable for applications requiring robust environmental sealing and reliable power connections. It is designed for in-line cable-to-cable or cable-to-panel connections when mated with corresponding inline or panel mount connectors. The free-hanging style allows flexible installation.
