The Panduit PV8-8R-TY is an insulated ring terminal designed for 8 AWG stranded copper wire. It features a #8 stud size and a crimp termination style, making it suitable for secure, permanent connections in power distribution and control circuits.
The terminal is constructed with a copper stamping, tin plated for corrosion resistance, and housed in a red vinyl insulator. It has a brazed seam for enhanced mechanical strength. The maximum wire insulation diameter is 7.11 mm (0.280"), and the recommended wire strip length is 9.5 mm (3/8") +0.8 mm (1/32").
Rated for 600V maximum and 105°C maximum temperature, this terminal is cULus listed. It is designed for free-hanging (in-line) mounting and is compatible with Panduit crimp tools such as CT-720 and CT-2600 series.
