The Bourns PTVS1-066C-TH is a high voltage, high current bidirectional TVS diode designed for AC line and high power DC bus clamping applications. It features a standoff voltage of 66 V and a breakdown voltage range of 71 V (min) to 80 V (max) at 10 mA. The clamping voltage is 86 V typical at a peak pulse current of 1 kA (8/20 µs waveform).
This device offers excellent surge capability with a peak pulse current rating of 1000 A per IEC 61000-4-5. It has a typical junction capacitance of 744 pF at 10 kHz. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
