The PTN3365BSMP from NXP Semiconductors is a versatile high-speed level shifter device. It is engineered to convert four lanes of low-swing AC-coupled differential input signals into DVI v1.0 and HDMI v1.4b compliant open-drain current-steering differential output signals. This device supports data rates up to 3.0 Gbit/s per lane, enabling high-resolution video formats like 4Kx2K and 3D video.
This level shifter features low-swing self-biasing differential inputs compliant with DisplayPort Standard v1.2 and PCI Express Standard v1.1. The outputs are compliant with DVI v1.0 and HDMI v1.4b specifications. It also includes an active buffer for HPD signal voltage translation and an active I²C-bus buffer for the DDC channel, providing capacitive isolation, redriving, and level shifting between 3.3V and 5V interfaces.
The PTN3365BSMP operates from a single 3.3V power supply, consuming a typical power of 230 mW. It is supplied in a 32-terminal HVQFN package and is suitable for surface mount applications. The device is designed for consumer video applications and supports standards such as DVI v1.0 and HDMI v1.4b.
